The short version: we keep only what we need to save your progress, we never sell or share it, and you can delete everything yourself at any time.
Playing as a guest
If you don't sign in, your progress (which chapters you've cleared and your day streak) is saved only in your own browser, on your device. It never reaches us.
If you sign in with Google
Signing in is optional. It lets your progress follow you between devices. When you sign in, Google shares these with us, and this is all we keep:
- your Google account ID, email address, name and profile picture
- your learning progress: which chapters you've cleared and when, and your day streak
We never see or store your Google password. We don't use your information for advertising, we don't track you around the web, and we don't sell or share it with anyone.
Where it's stored
Signed-in progress is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and protected so that each account can only read its own data. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles ordinary technical information (like IP addresses) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Your browser's local storage holds a copy of your progress and your sign-in session so the site works instantly and offline. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Sign out any time from the Me tab. This also clears the copy of your progress on that device; it stays safe in your account.
- Delete your account from the Me tab. This immediately and permanently removes your account and all of your progress from our database.
- You can also remove Dev Worlds' access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/connections.
